Indian Energy Skills Development Pvt Ltd respects the privacy of its customers and prospective customers. You may be providing us information about yourself during the registration process, during the tenure of the program, or after the successful completion of the program as an alumnus. Through this Privacy Policy, IESD would like to share how we collect, apply, and share data about you. Please note however that there may be third parties involved such as payment getaways (Razorpay) or the Knorish Learning Management System which may be taking data from you and that data protection & privacy shall be governed as per their policies and IESD shall not be held accountable for any breach, liabilities, losses, damages and expenses between you and the third parties.

If any provisions under the Indian Law may conflict with this privacy policy, then the Law shall take precedence over that provision of the privacy policy. This Privacy Policy applies only to the IESD website.

Data Privacy & Protection. The students agree and understand that it is necessary for IESD to collect, process, use, and share students’ data, including to third parties, in order to process Certifications, Exam scores, conduct placements, provide referral and qualification checks, and confirm compliance with policies and applicable laws.

By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and give your consent to IESD to share the student data by IESD to third parties. You shouldn’t use the Services if you don’t agree with this Privacy Policy or any other agreement that governs your use of the Services.

DEFINITIONS:

STUDENT: A person who has applied for admission by registering his / her particulars, paid the requisite fee, and received formal communication regarding admission.
REGISTRATION: The process of submitting one’s particulars for admission, payment of the fee, and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the admission.

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

SECTION 4 - PAYMENT

We use Razorpay for processing payments. We/Razorpay do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payments. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

SECTION 10 - LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM VIA MOBILE APP (ANDROID)

Once you registered successfully with our course. you can access the course by login id and password either on website or mobile App. our mobile App is available on both the platforms (Android). You can download our mobile App from Google play store and Apple store.

What data do we get from you? This includes information about you such as name, contact information (address, email, mobile number), gender, nationality, current designation or role, organization name, about your interests, information about how you got to know about the course etc along with a valid ID (Aadhar Card / Driver’s License/ Passport / Voter ID card) and a current passport size photograph. A valid ID and passport-size photograph are taken for internal records only to verify your identity during the registration process. In addition to this, the third-party platforms such as Razorpay and Knorish may ask you for your data and pass on that data to IESD for our records. You may create a username and password for accessing these accounts, which may be stored on the third-party platform records. On Knorish, you will also have an Order ID created, which is used as your enrollment number.
IESD uses Razorpay gateway, UPI, and bank transfer methods for collecting payments. Please note that we do not store any information about your card or bank details or any such sensitive information. Even from the third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay, we may receive limited information such as your email address, how you paid, transaction ID, etc, but we do not receive any sensitive information such as card details, account details, etc.
In case the program demands project work, IESD shall have the right to use the content received as project reports for teaching and course updating purposes, including sharing it as a sample with other students.
Parts of the Services let you interact with other users or share content publicly, including by posting reviews about content, asking or answering questions, sending messages to students or instructors, or posting photos or other work you upload. Such shared content may be publicly viewable by others depending on where it is posted.
In case IESD receives any feedback, testimonials from its customers, IESD has the right to use the feedback for marketing purposes on its website, digital media platforms, and other marketing collaterals.
In case you reach out to us for any support or problem (doesn’t matter if you are an enrolled student or prospective customer), we may collect and store your contact information, messages, and any other data about you, such as name, email, contact numbers, etc. IESD uses this data only to respond to your concern/queries/information sought in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The IESD website does not have tools like cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to gather any data about you. Nor can the IESD website track or gather data from any of your social media accounts through our website.
What do we do with the data that you provide? The data collected is strictly for internal records, verifying your identity, and offering you better services and support. We do not share this data with any third parties unless it is required by Law.
Security of your account- If you feel your account has been compromised or there has been unauthorized access, immediately reach out to us at [email protected] or +91 798-251-6868. We will help you in resetting your password to your Knorish account (LMS).
Regards the security of Minors - Although most of our programs are intended for working professionals who are beyond 18 years of age, some of the programs can be pursued by minors. In such cases, a consent letter is required by the parent or the legal guardian, whose format is available on the Knorish platform. IESD also recommends that the account be created and maintained by the parent / legal guardian of the minor and that the course be pursued under the supervision of the parent / legal guardian only.
Your Rights - As it's your data, you have certain rights regarding the usage of your data. You can send us an email at [email protected] in case you wish to opt out of any promotional emails or messages sent by IESD.
Terminating an account on Knorish - You can definitely delete or suspend your account on the Knorish LMS platform. However, please note that even after your account is terminated, some or all of your data may still be visible to others.
Jurisdiction: Any dispute shall be governed and interpreted by the laws of India, and the Courts at Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
