Rakesh kaul

Principal

Mr. Rakesh Kaul has been in service for more than 40 years overseeing various hospitality and commercial projects such as Oberoi Hotels, Sterling Holiday Resorts, Accor, Sahara India, Leela Hotels, Taj Hotels, Hyatt International, Assotech Realty and last being Hilton Worldwide.
Mr. Rakesh Kaul started his career with the Indian Navy associated with engineering services and later moved to Hospitality Industry handling Multi National 5-star properties like Oberoi Hotels, Hyatt International, Taj Group, Accor and Leela Group.
He built a Management Team and launched FAME (Facility and Assets Management Enterprises.). The start-up has been great with Housing (Assotech), Educational (UPES), Institutional (IT Park) and Hospitality projects (Marriott), Hilton, Radisson. FAME was also in Operation and maintenance of 135 MW Solar power Plants of international repute Moser Baer. Handled teams consisting professionals from various aspects of Hospitality and Commercial, Civil & Engineering (O&M), Services (Utilities including Design and peer review capability), Asset Management (Housekeeping, Security) and Project Management including Civil, Architecture, ID, brand and Statuary compliances, Adequacy and ISO Audits and consultancy.

Dr. Debesh Patra

Dr. Patra is the Former Executive Director (Planning) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). He has 34 years long tenure with BPCL. As Executive Director, Planning, Dr. Patra was a member of the senior management team in BPCL. His career in BPCL was spread over such marketing domains as POL operation, LPG marketing, logistics management, international trade, infrastructural development and corporate planning.
Dr. Patra had two years stint (1985-1987) in the Department of Economic Analysis and Policy, Reserve bank of India at Mumbai. During this phase, Dr. Patra had the opportunity to analyze the functioning of the Indian economy through practicing economists’ view. He is the author of 3 books and 45 published papers. He has extensively worked in the area of Petro Economics and energy transition.

V K Sharma

Former Chairman and Managing Director of National Fertilizers Limited and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited.
He is associated with the Fertilizer Industry for more than 40 years. He has also headed the Fertilizer vertical of Jaypee Group.
He is an engineering graduate from Regional College Bhopal in 1973.
He was associated with the Nangal Expansion Project, Vijaipur Project and GNFC ammonia-urea project, and revival of Sindri Barauni, Gorakhpur fertilizer as Advisor.
He is also Advisor to Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited.

A K Sharma

Advisor

Former Director (Finance), Administrative, IOCL, India.
Mr. A.K. Sharma has over three decades of experience in Indian Oil and has handled the entire gamut of activities in the Finance function.
Mr. A.K. Sharma also brings with him vast experience of Project Appraisal and Project Finance besides the financial accounting activities related to Refining and Marketing. Mr. A.K. Sharma has also served as Head of Indian Oil's Treasury where he was credited for issuing the first-ever Foreign Currency Bonds ($ 500 million bonds REG-S) of Indian Oil in the International Markets in 2010.
Prior to joining the Board of Indian Oil as Director (Finance), Mr. Sharma was Executive Director (Finance) of the Refineries Division. Chartered Accountant, Mr. A.K. Sharma did his graduation in Commerce and LLB from Allahabad University. With a seasoned and mature approach to issues, excellent domain knowledge, and extensive international exposure, Mr. Sharma has actively participated and represented Indian Oil in various conferences and seminars across the globe.
