With the next phase of Paris Agreement goals rapidly approaching, governments and organizations everywhere are looking to increase the adoption of renewable-energy sources. Some of the regions with the heaviest use of energy have extra incentives for pursuing alternatives to traditional energy. These developments are propelling the market for battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Battery storage technologies are essential to speeding up the replacement of fossil fuels with renewable energy. Battery storage systems will play an increasingly pivotal role between green energy supplies and responding to electricity demands.
Battery storage, or battery energy storage systems (BESS), are devices that enable energy from renewables, like solar and wind, to be stored and then released when the power is needed most. Battery storage technology has a key part to play in ensuring homes and businesses can be powered by green energy, even when the sun isn’t shining or the wind has stopped blowing.
Brochure Contains details of the Course and applied Fee Structure.
The course is designed in a manner that covers fundamental concept related to different battery storage technologies including application, methodology and overview of the renewable energy market, Photovoltaic energy management system and other energy storage options.
You will examine the benefits of using battery energy storage for industrial products –underground mining – and in mobility. You will also take a closer look at the different battery and energy storage technology and their applications.
In line with current advancements in new battery technology, this course mostly focuses on various types of batteries. You’ll explore their impact on the electric vehicle market, as well as at grid and home level.
By the end of this course you will have knowledge of the various terms and concepts associated with the battery energy storage and environmental impact.
The program is designed by domain experts in their fields. The program is spaced over 60 days, which is enough to acquire knowledge on the subject at own’s pace. Enrolled participant shall be provided with a certificate, provided they have scored minimum 50% in the evaluation.
The program is delivered through directed readings divided into 6 modules followed by an objective assessment and Viva (interview) with the aid of learning management system (LMS).
